i've been wanting to take the boys to wild west city near our house for a while. again, they're at good ages for it. the last time i was there was with aiden, 3 and we didnt stay long because he didnt like the loud noises. colin, at 3 gets no choice in the matter. we dont leave a place for that reason anymore. ;)
my big boy isn't THAT big as he still wants to ride these, BUT in his defense i do think he thought they went faster.
this is pretty much what you get here. it's been around forever with no upgrades in that time. rinky dinky, but kids who haven't been to disney don't care and, no crowds. mom likes that.
kids in a toy gun store, just like kids in a candy store. oh the so many options. proud of the littles who chose the $4.95 options.
we told him not to approach any horse from behind because naturally they can kick you.
OR, other natural things could happen.
here's my neighbor boy, my boys LOVE him. and he gets away with having brothers without his mother loosing her mind.
i love this picture, too much i think.
this place was really too funny. i hadnt explained any of it to colin. in fact again i surprised them pulling into the parking lot. kids normally are in their pretend world, you battle with the at times not too, or not now. you don't always want to play in their fantasyland. bring them here where everyone's in character and col's having a hard time getting it. he really believed them.
alex is telling colin to put his hands up!!
the boys really paid attention to the skits that went on all day long. so much so they practically acted everything out for brett at dinner. here, they are taking their deputy oath.
and then get badges to boot.
first day of the summer any of them wore socks and sneakers. aiden tried guessing where we were going while getting dressed and guessed "new school shoes?!". Ha! Good guess, but no even though yes, we do need to come to terms with reality that school will be starting again soon.
colin was a little afraid to go on this train after seeing the stagecoach (in a skit) getting robbed. he voiced his concerns calmly and i told him it was alright.
