back in march, aiden's teacher came to me and said (for the 3rd time) that "aiden was exhausted" in class. the boys go to bed at a very reasonable hour but being that they share a room there is no real way of knowing when they are sleeping. brett wanted to give aiden his own room ever since colin went from his crib to a bed, but i didn't want to deal with room share training b and c. enter aiden's teacher.

that day i switched their rooms.

it was pretty cool to see what items left behind aiden deemed important and where he hung them in his room. he made sure to grab certain pictures along with a crucifix and hung them all above his bed.

it was really very beyond cool to see aiden respecting his space and things. i had been asking him to raise himself up from his brothers for a while and unbeknowst to me this is how he was going to do it. now that he has only his stuff to be responsible for and feels that's fair, i have not had to ask him to clean his room or put his clothes away once. he's very organized, has a place for everything and has become a collector of many things.

for the record i don't ask him to make his bed, we do have the same genetical engineering.

and brady and colin transitioned better than expected as well.
