so back in may, aiden's grade had a little spring sing thing. very cute. but i must say i was distracted by one thing, his hair. i couldn't help but notice his overgrown, refusing to get cut head of hair sticking out like a sore thumb against all these freshly groomed classmates of his.

as it usually came up in conversation we were talking about it in front of my neighbors and he told us he had clippers. finally i told aiden i'd give Him the $10 (w/o tip) i'd pay a barber to cut his hair. deal.

i was VERY shocked. as he's had his hair shaved before, years ago and he Hated it. so now to go from refusing a trim even to near skinhead. we all know this boy's currency.

brett did a good job to boot. i admit it was too short, but it was an improvement and would grow in. ill take it.

all the while, brady and colin were looking on.

and brady immediately sat in the chair after a. (i have no memory of the gashes on brady's head).

he, not as expensive only cost me $5 and i bet i could have gotten away for free.

now brady. he's got head shape.

colin wanted to go next, but his mama wouldn't let him. Maybe next year.
