they still got up at 7, but so good at this age(s) so i didn't have to get up until 8. brett complained i hadn't made coffee yet but that was bc i was trying to get cinnamon rolls in the oven. the kids liked these! we're going through some major food aversions and they never eat anything i make no matter.
i know i can buy those all-in-one mittens that flap over cut off fingered gloves, but part of me is cheap (a big part) and i can just do this. too bad though bc i thought we just found these gloves. i was the only one who found them, brett told me they were his (oops)! these make it easier to take outdoor pictures in frigid temps.
i must say the kids are a lot easier to get ready to go outside this year. a&b only like a little help with their boots plus, they do stay out for a while.
sledding wasnt happening in this fresh fallen powdery stuff, neither were snowmen.
and there was a lot of shoveling to be done.
we inherited a hardly ever been used snowblower from our old neighbors.
the fourth boy is a neighbor.
inside for hot chocolate.
i didn't move fast enough becauce 30 seconds prior to this picture being taken, these and a few others even were on my front lawn.
oh, my newest thing. homemade almond milk since i love almond and honey. it's yummy. and just something i had to do. great substitute for those lactaid intolerate i guess but i like it in banana yogurt almond smoothies.
