he also ruined our 7+ year streak of no emergency room visits.

he was in a huge amount of pain and docs had to give him heavy pain relievers and were able to reduce it but he will need to have out patient surgery soon to give it the better fix.

he was so good for being in so much pain. brett and i were so proud of him.

of course he didn't like the iv, who does but he loved the lighting up finger. so much he asked if he could have it, and the bandaidy stickers on his chest so he could be monitored and the blanket, his gown. all of which wishes were granted.

plus he got to watch dvds of clifford and dora while we waited and stay up way past bedtime.

he looks worse since he is all chapped from his cold affecting his irish skin. but he is back to new.

poor baby. although i do think he enjoyed the mommy/daddy attention.
