this could possibly become our christmas card if i don't attempt further. forget you've seen it come december.

me and the big daddy. :)
pop gets us just out of the oven sticky buns one morning every year. he's the first one on line as he's the first one (on the entire island!) up every morning. thanks pop.
colin was SO very happy brady gave him the rest of his blue raspberry icee from wawa.
it's always nice seeing the elders ;) enjoy themselves. and drinking something other than cold beer and red wine for a change.
our annual group shot. some people don't know how to follow directions no matter how many times you try.
we hadn't seen a single drop of rain since we arrived the saturday before. until friday. friday morning lightening flashed in front of my face. i heard it and even felt it. looked outside to see it a telephone pole!
that certainly made a rainy day eventful.
at the first chance of a break we headed out a bit more into town. there are several murals painted on sides of buildings and every year i say i want a picture of the kids in front of one...
and to another highly anticipated hotspot, henna tattoos.
the boys talked me into getting one on my foot as well.
this is what 40 tickets at the arcade gets you.
home for a few more and our last night.
one more go at the family shot. everyone cooperates, i cut off heads and colin's a punk. what else is new? so be it.
then the rain comes again. flood level rain. a family coming down in a blow up raft canoe thing rain.
gotta get a picture of brady and his daddy in the flood so when he comes down with his family he can tell his kids how it once flooded when he was a little boy and he has a picture to prove it. there's one of aiden too but the amount of pictures here is getting a bit ridiculous dontcha think?
oh look. now here come water skiers via a truck. that's just what this day needed.
oh no that's right. the day needed a super old couple coming home late and needing to park up the street. brett was outside and walked them into their home safely. there were hugs exchanged plus a big thank you with a lifetime (whos?) permission of fishing off their deck.
and tomorrow my biggest boy starts first grade.
