august recap: no more camp. a lot of lake. and now, we're finally on vacation!

i took no pictures before getting here and even these are some from aiden's camera since saturday.

saturday we left at 7am got here at 10. swung by our rental to check it out since it's new this yr. checked out the beach real quick before heading to a food store since we saw a fridge in the pool garage we could put our refrigerated stuff in since we couldn't get in the house until 1. got back at 12 and walked to feed the boys pizza, met up with my parents and ordered takeout sandwiches for us. now we could pick up the key and head back.

i ate my sandwich by the pool which is where we stayed for the remainder of the day since the boys had been looking forward to that all summer. brett, i and the boys then walked to Fred's Tavern for some more beer and annual attire. aiden and brady each picked up a shirt and a black visor. we need to go back to get another for uncle kevin, a visor guy. hot dogs and burgers on the grill... at this point brett reminded me i hadnt talked to my highschool senior neighbor who was supposed to be taking care of richter. she ended up working all night and i had my other neighbor come by. whew.

somewhere between there and now the girls caught a movie while the men went to bed early for a 645 tee time. now i listen to those two talk like julia child all the time. boys made necklaces at the bead shop. we've walked the beach and logged a lot more hours in the pool. it's only 5'deep and the older two can swim it completely on their own like little fishes. colin even started jumping in yesterday.

last night the arcade and looking for an ice cream shop that didnt have a line around a corner.

we're lucking out with a gorgeous sun filled week and we're off to the beach.
