while no pictures the weather really WAS worth looking forward to this weekend. boys were outside from 10:30 - 5:00 saturday alone. brett and i impromptu washed the inside and outside including screens of 80% of our windows! (we're super fun, i know.) we don't have the flip open kind so it's a timely, although VERY rewarding task. we're still admiring being able to see through them. then sunday in between other stuff i spot painted some really badly marked up yellow walls. i do love spring cleaning.

where are we heading in the fall? while we would REALLY like to REALLY go away away, i just can't commit financially or mentally to it. we were both raised nontravelers. we tell ourselves we're just putting it off so instead we're going to head only to new hope/lambertville. we're super SUPER excited about it though. firstly the obvious, no children, strollers, naps, diaps, crankiness, whining, carseats, packnplays, 3 extra bags, extra snacks, do we have everything, toys that won't be played with and anything else i think might be a good idea to (over)pack. i could stop right there really.

brett and i spent our 1st anniversary weekend there. it was very fun for us and we talked about going back way back then but haven't since. they have a ton of great restaurants and while we did enjoy some fantastic meals, none were at the places recommended to us. the doe-doe travelers we are didn't think to call ahead. this time we're heading back to the same place as in '00, i already made reservations at our top 2 dinner destinations AND for a couples massage late morning. in between we'll bar hop, shop... enjoy having the kids at gandma's and pops. :)

for now, off to my mom's for a no-reason-other-than-monday-night lemon chicken dinner.
