thankful friday

• at this very moment in time we are not going through any exhausting stages, night wakings, sicknesses, behavior problems, issues at school or with friends, ahh. all 3 of my boys are happy, healthy, confident and thriving. i feel like my work here is done; now where am i going? it sometimes feels like there's always something to grump about or lying heavy on the shoulders, so with none of that going on i'm treasuring it.
• we're fairing well in this frigid january weather, as i've been pacing my i've had it!s.

• dry noodles and rice helped yesterday. 1 hour of quiet is worth ANY bit of extra cleanup.
• i'm getting together with all 5 of my college roommates this weekend. a real get together where no one is the hostess or guest of honor, a time to really get together. one is hosting and one is being honored but not in a formal showeresque kind of way.
  

• conversation hearts. seems every season offers a candy i love.
• i'm surprising aiden by joining him at lunch today, he loves surprises and having me at school.
