In the final hour on Friday we got hi-def up and running. Not the way we wanted originally. Senior direct tv guy said the same thing as other guy only in a much clearer way, using more of the english language and explaining how we'll never get all 5 satellites in. Plan B was it through our current cable provider. That's been squared away now. Still nothing is ever easy. At one point Brett was ready to return the tv. Then an ice storm knocked out the power for 5 minutes resulting in having to reinstall the cable. I was waiting for a squirrel to chew through a wire next. Now Brett's plans are to sit. and wait. It's going to be a long day.
I'm taking the only completely healthy child and hightailing it outta here for a few hours. Aiden has had a countdown until the Superbowl going all week because we told him he could watch some of it. He was up at God knows what hour which was highly unusual complaining that his cheek hurt? I think in the end it was his ear. Regardless there's no way he's gonna make it.
