Little Big Big Little

We pull up at my parents the other day and Brady asks "Is Big Pop home?" I tell him "No. Big Pop doesn't live here."

Let me back up. I'm sure you've been through it before, grandparents choosing a name they want to be called by their grandkids. Only to have their grandkids eventually end up choosing their grandparents' names for them. Some time ago Aiden came up with a distinguishing word between the two Memas ("Mema" because it was easier to say than "Grandma" and he was already saying "Pop") and Pops. He innocently asked on the way one day if we were going to "Big" Grandmas. We prodded the obvious because we wanted to hear his answer of why she was "Big" Grandma. And he simply said because she's bigger. True. Although no offense to be taken on either end. And so now this is where it starts to get confusing though, because since "Big Grandma", the bigger one is "Big Grandma" her Pop is also "Big Pop". But "Little Grandma's" Pop is bigger than "Big Pop" but he still gets dubbed "Little Pop".

So after telling Brady "No (Silly). Big Pop doesn't live here". He asks "Is Tiny Pop home?" LOL!
