aiden had a christmas sing-song thing at school mid december. he was so so so excited for it. counting down the days, reciting everyone else's lines... the day before he'd say "well, tomorrow's the day. i've been looking forward to saying that for a long time". then his stomach was nervous for the next 24 hours. on the day of of course it was "well, today's the day". when it was all over he was sad.

i actually had to make his tunic. some ppl were able to buy them from oriental trading online as did i but i got an email 3 days before the show that they were now sold out. the music teacher said all she required is a white sheet with a hole in the middle. i figured i could do that. i kept at it and was pleased, yet aiden even more with how it turned out. it was actually so cute to see all these mish mosh, put together from what you had costumes. a really cute night.

a few days later aiden tells me how everyone in his class (forked up the $30) got a video of the production, how he wanted to show it to grandma on christmas day. for a second there i had mom's guilt but we're both over it now.

second row like 6th in from the left. they made their own stars in art class and it topped our tree this year. love school productions.

love this too. this is when i wish time could freeze.
