thankful friday

• the recent unusually high temps timed perfectly for my new lemon tree.

my parents' orange tree, my hemangioma and me at 18 months.

• diet coke. caffeine with less calories? i have always had a strong dislike for anything diet and here we are now.

• not needing to pick colin up once during his little movin and groovin class yesterday, he's comfortable with it now. although it is less of a workout for me not holding him.
• an attractive woman with extremely shockingly bright, red, short hair walked out of a store as we were going in today. as we passed each other colin says "funny". it was.

• good boys. brady always notices and comments on other children misbehaving or getting in trouble when we're together. i reassuringly tell him how great i think it is that he knows right behavior from wrong. he's a good big brother when we're out at least.
• i remembered aiden's 1/2 birthday was last week and halved everything in his lunchbox, sandwich, apple, mini pretzel sticks, cheesestick, nutrigrain bar, even 1/2 of a Happy 1/2 Birthday note. he liked that.
• he read Pajama Time by Sandra Boyton to me last night.
