- ... that colin's cute. he's fullfledged into 2yo whiner stage. a cold and molars (i guess?) don't help.
- brady's out of his whine stage.
- this week brady suggested we make pizza for dinner. he mostly wanted to work the dough. i forgot how good (semi)homemade was.
- uh, it's february. so at least we're done with january, right?
- last weekend aiden & i had a lot of impromtu 1on1 time, which was so fun i'm looking to do it again really soon.
- brady's fullfledged stage is pretend. it's fun to listen to him narrate and act out his imagination and see how it goes all OVER the place.
- ran to target for some retail therapy (and starbuck's) yesterday and it totally helped (the winter blues). whew. brady was not used to mom saying yes to all his requests: dinosaur (hot) cereal, brownie mix, colored goldfish (we already have costco sized original), a blue icee!? we all need to get to our happy place occassionally no matter the frigid temps right?
- some fun stuff planned for the weekend, with and without the kids. always good when days or weekends have that balance.

edited to add. we made our brownies this morning. to be festive we snuck in a few conversation hearts as a treat for the person(s) who gets those portions. the piggie in me wanted to swirl some peanut butter through some (ahh, yea, they're heaven). in colin style, he added 2 grapes. we've all agreed to let him critique those.
