thankful friday

• christmas made it's way into the attic.
• aiden & brady slept over mimi and bops* last night. *boys' names for my parents if colin was the first born.
• a week off. i took it off in many ways too.

• our (colin's) first sled riding of the winter. at one point all 3 of them piled on top of each other on top of a sled. i'd pull them around, pretty fast and sometimes one (or 3) of them would wipe out. repeat... wow, tiring. but fun. i'm not usually the one out in the snow with them. (of course not many pictures, because...i was out in the snow with them).
  

• how a new year can refresh my mind.
• new dinner menu items to try out: cuban sandwiches, chicken fried steak, prepared ahead chicken pot pies.
• an upcoming reason to finally make these.
• in a few days, aiden and brady can stop asking me if they have school tomorrow, stop bugging** each other and everyone else and return to our regularly scheduled programming. **loose term.
